Looking for some continual fresh perspective. I always want to have new ideas and see circumstances from new angles but I think that we as humans are hampered in this effort by two major errors.
First, we are unable to learn through history. We simply don't pay attention and miss so much because our eyes are not open. Sometimes we need to shake out the cob webs in our mind and focus on learning from every moment.
The second error is the lack of willingness to see things differently. Since we refuse to learn from our own experiences we often ignore the experience of others and the unique perspective they may bring. Here we need to stop being arrogant or ignorant so that we can listen to something different.
May we find new perspective when we most need it and not be distracted by our own inability.
