(Had an interesting conversation last night on all these pagan rooted Christian observances). I have never been too good about sacrificing anything and focusing instead on my relationship with Jesus during these 40 days but I am at a much more intentional place in my faith now and am making an effort to at least spend more time in prayer and serving others instead of myself.<br /><br />My good friend Will has an <a href="http://willfjohnston.com/?p=4">interesting challenge </a>that I think I will take him up on. Of course I drink a lot of wine (in comparison to beer) but I don't want to give that up!<br /><br />Anyone else "fasting" this lenten season?
